mercy follows justice

I have so much flying through my mind these days. And my body is flying around at least as rapidly so not much time to sit and organize my thoughts.

At the forefront of life right now is that my sister has had her second child so I'm an auntie again! Princess Merci Raine joins Justus Emmanuel in their beautiful little family. Merci follows Justus. Hmmmm, sounds like a Kingdom thing.

We have had only nephews on both sides of the family but now my princesses are joined by another. We are heading out to see the new lovely tomorrow. I can't wait! Photos will follow. I promise. And I've warned My Beloved he will probably have to offer some boundaries when it comes to this aunties new baby budget. I'm totally enjoying shopping the baby girl department again. ;)

In other thoughts, I'm contemplating much about grace. About the Kingdom of God. About slander and offense. About the journey of life. About 50th wedding anniversaries. About the beginning of football season. About parenting seasons. About the blessings of material prosperity. About new clothes. About reading....or lack thereof. About kids sleeping on couch cushions on the living room floor when there are perfectly good beds just 15 feet away. About weight gain following fasting. And about trombones - specifically about 10 year old, 5th graders playing them. Yes, much is running through this thought-box of mine.
