Anyone care to join me for dessert? We got gobs of it.
We had our worship team over for lunch today to feed them then rope them in for a 'ministry evaluation' meeting. Just kidding. It wasn't really a ploy though we did talk a little about the vision for the worship ministry. Mostly we just like to connect every once in a while.
Anyways, for our crowd of 10-14, one dessert would be sufficient but I wanted carrot cake and felt like I should offer an alternative (like for the kids). So I made a carrot cake and a pan of brownies yesterday morning and today, I have over half of them each left over.
AND, spur of the moment we had a family over for dinner last night to watch the {college football} game on TV. I wanted dessert but didn't feel like I should cut into the desserts reserved for our guests today SO I made an apple spice cake and some homemade whipped cream. I have atleast half of that left too.
So I have 3 desserts to offer and a cuppa french press.....anyone feel like making a trip to the heart of the States?

Where exactly is the heart? I have in my head that you live in a certain state but I'm not sure I'm right.
Well I'll be over for coffee ...just been waiting for the invite, but I am afraid I don't do dessert (hypoglycemia)...i have learned to walk away and I don't get hurt ;-)

Oooh, that apple spice with a cuppa sounds ultra fab (aren't those both laundry detergents? LOL!)

I would love to come over for coffee AND dessert! I would offer to bring some of the leftovers from our weekend, but it sounds like you got that covered!
I'd take dessert but I think I put myself in a sugar coma yesterday at the picnic....for real.
I can be there in 45 minutes...course when there's coffee and dessert I can make it in 20 minutes!!! HA!
