That's a good, satisfied, 'ahhhh' kind of sigh. It's been a good weekend. I got my house cleaned before these fab people arrived.
Before they showed up Saturday evening, we helped a single mom from church load up her u-haul to move 5 hours away. We were sad to see her go but happy to see her following the road God has laid out for her. It's all good. There's a happy, exhausted satisfaction in being a blessing to someone.
Then a snacky sort of supper for our clan of 11, the total of us 2 families. And lots of coffee and lots of conversation. Good. We went to bed 1:30-ish.
Up at 6:45 to begin the lunch prep and get my crew ready for church. The hubby of reallyniceday had a great message about 5 prophetic seasons in life - using the life of David to illustrate. Very good. Ministry and fellowship at church until 1pm. Then home for a simple lunch of baked potatoes and a salad.
More coffee, more conversation. A little jaunt to the bigger little town over 10 miles. (we left 7 of the kids home with a sitter for this excursion) Deep in conversation on the way back home, My Beloved missed our exit so we decided to take the LONG way back around and go up the road 15 more minutes to the bit bigger little town to Starbuck's - to go.
We finally made it back home. The kids blew off a load of fireworks and we finished up our coffee and had more conversation. Then our friends loaded up their crew and headed down the road.
So here we sit. My daughter wants to know when we're having more company because it's boring without them. (she's definitely my daughter!) *sigh* *smile* *sigh*

I am so glad that God blessed you all with a sweet time of fellowship.
That "sigh" feeling is a great refresher for the soul.
Mmmm...I love that feeling at the end of the weekend. The best kind of tired. So glad you had a great visit!
I bet that conversation that kept you up until 1:30 ish was a good one! I love having guests over too, although hubby mentioned taking a week break from the constant stream of visitors, needs some time to lay around on the couch with a bag of corn nuts! Oh, that sounds oddly appealing right now.... ~Karlie
