it's half time so here's some photos

So, there's no shopping in this girl's day today. Town is too far away for an early morning trek and I hear things can be quite dangerous in the city anyways so I'm content watching football with My Beloved. Here's a reflection of the previous days events though...

I did most of the baking on Wednesday. Here's some yummy rolls and yes, I did eat one right out of the oven. Yum.

Here's some of the mess as I worked that day. KitchenAide, how I love thee.

Grandma's watching the pre-meal spectacular. See my simple, pretty table.

The dining entertainment was presented by these lovely gals.

Not sure why the TRUE drama queen wouldn't participate. Maybe because it wasn't ALL about HER. ;)

Here's me, trying to get through the day. {just kidding} It's just juice. Honest.

I made it though. Here's me at midnight....

...weary, but happy and very thankful for how Jesus has blessed me and worked in my life in 2008.

Hee-hee.. your juice picture made me giggle. :D

So glad you had such a sweet Thanksgiving, friend. Ours was blessed, too.

This really is a great time of year. I just picked up Loving Christ by Joseph Stowell and I wondered if you've ever heard of it?

I've had it for years, but it kind of called to me over the weekend. So far, so good.
