make it a venti

See my bed, er, beds...

See my stash...

I'm actually 1 1/2 hours late to the night session. Typically, in a weekend conference I skip an afternoon session or two so I can be at the evening session. Call me a light-weight - I don't have the mental stamina to listen to over 5 hours of teaching in a day, no matter how good it is.

Anyways, I had the honor of introducing speakers all day and couldn't take any time off. So tonight I'm ready to kick back - alone, in my 2-bedded hotel room.....with a venti Caramel Macchiato. I'm starting to feel a little guilty. Do you think my spiritual mom is going to reprimand me? Yipes.

I think it all sounds like heaven! You shouldn't feel a bit guilty. Can I come sleep in the other bed? I promise I won't say a word, just veg with you. I'll bring my own vanilla latte. I'll totally let you have the remote, I've got a good book I've been dying to read.

I'm so GLAD that you don't let yourself fall prey to the "have tos" of being a pastor's wife (OR of "devote Christian woman", for that matter). Take a breather and ENJOY it to the fullest! ;)
