pretty swiftly

So, I made it through yesterday. Actually I want to thank everybody for your prayers - I believe God heard them. Things went really well. I think God graced me to deliver what He had given me in a comprehendable way. The only problem was, it was really pretty short. Not a bad thing on a Sunday morning - not so good when I'm planning on teaching basically the same thing at a conference next month....and I have 45 minutes. Yikes. Maybe we'll play a game first. :o)

After a panic that he wouldn't be preaching anywhere this weekend - my husband ended up preaching in 2 different churches in Mexico this weekend. Tonight he starts teaching in the bible school - 4 days. It sounds like God really used him yesterday morning. It's so unfathomable that an amazing, huge, powerful God uses humanity, you know? But it's also so totally cool.

I sat down and typed out a plan of attack for the rest of the week. I've been making a list of things to do this week for the last month. Now it's time for execution. I'm headed over to begin de-cluttering my husband's office at the church. It's kinda a jumbled mess of his stuff and the stuff that was left here by the last pastor. Lots and lots of books - what do ya do with 'em?

Tonight we've been invited over to some friends for supper. Tomorrow the kids get out of school early so we're going to head to town for some fun and dining out. The next 4 days should breeze by pretty swiftly. Yay.
