eclectic ponderings

It's cold outside. It seems that winter is on it's way. Probably no more 80+ degree days. I cringe at the fact that my coffee consumption will probably double - when it probably needs to be cut in half. When it's cold I like warm mugs in my hands. I'm eagerly awaiting the fireplace to be blazing in the evenings and the cornstove pumping heat into the family room. I like to stay home in the winter. I don't like getting out into the cold, especially with 3 kids in tow.

On an unrelated note... After finishing "Jesus, Mean and Wild" I will probably move onto "The Barbarian Way". My husband keeps relating little stories from it and it intrigues me. There's something about passionately going full-on for God that really excites me.

Speaking of exciting, in a couple weeks we are going to hear Pastor Brian Houston minister! Hillsong Church in Australia is one of our ministry 'role models'. They exude LIFE and reach thousands of people for the sake of the Gospel. Very cool stuff.

It's 5:00 and all is well, except for my toes are froze. Hmm, winter IS coming.
