an ipod and headphones
OK, we all know that they start selling Christmas waaayyy too soon but I was horrified to hear Christmas music playing in the mall today. Let me tell ya, Christmas music is NOT that good to be heard for 2 months of the year. I need an ipod and headphones for my shopping days.

It's been a long while since I checked out your "pondering blog". Good stuff Javamamma! Good stuff. I especially appreciate your tsunami post. I think we all have a tendency to cling to false security ("My child will not fall into the world because I homeschool, I will not get sick because I eat right").... when in reality we are leaning on ourselves (our works).
