miscellaneous

Seeking God for a week leaves you a little quiet at the end of 7 days. I feel a little emotional and almost alone, it's weird. Our time was so good though - so it's not bad just...weird.

My preacher/hubby gave a phenomenal word, that God had given him for our church/region, yesterday. Joel 2. My spirit seriously bears witness.

We had lunch with some fabulous friends today. We always leave encouraged and today with a twinge of jealousy. They're going to the Hillsong Conference this summer. Luckies. Jesus knows the desires of my heart, and that's one of them - someday.

Tomorrow night is our church's Ladies Night. My teaching is "An Ooey, Gooey, Gushy Love Story" - should be fun. I have some direction for our women's ministry for 2007 so I'll be casting that vision as well. Vision is good, ya know.

I've now finished book 2 in the Chronicles of Narnia series. It's nice to read books that you can finish within a day or 2. It's been awhile since I'll read anything in this genre.

Wow, I just had a horrible time trying to spell 'miscellaneous' so I guess that's my queue. (is that how you spell queue?)

Spelling, ugh. I'm not terrible at it, but it seems like blogging brings out the worst speller in me.
So, I've been reading over your blog, and remembering why I like you. Not afraid to speak your mind eh? My kinda gal! Even if I don't always agree with you. Still, great fuel for thought. Your post about doctrine is making me think. I am worried about my kiddos rebelling against our family "doctrine" (see my current post for my whine session), however I fail to see fruit in the families who are living in the world. Honestly, I understand what you are saying, but I have yet to see it acted out successfully. All I know is the more my older children experience the world, the more they get a taste for it.... what would Jesus have us do? I wish I knew for sure. Love ya! ~Karlie
